Konstantin Komarek is about to say goodbye

Komarek’s career once took off
EC Red Bull Salzburg
really getting going. Between 2012 and 2016 he developed into one of the league’s defining players. Two championship titles and consistently strong scoring values made him one of the top centers in the then EBEL (now ICEHL).
The jump to Sweden
After his time in Salzburg, the Viennese moved to Sweden. Stations at
Malmo Redhawks,
Karlskrona HK and especially
Lulea HF shaped his years in the
SHL. There, Komarek established himself as a reliable two-way striker at a high level and collected over 300 games in one of the strongest leagues in Europe.
The striker has also had short stints in top international leagues, such as the KHL and the Swiss NLA.

Komarek has been with us since 2023
Vasteras IK under contract, where he quickly took on a leadership role. In the

He was one of the top performers and showed particularly strong performances in the current season. He recently led his team to stay in the relegation battle.
