ICEHL: The EC VSV could bring back a former eagle!

After being eliminated in the quarter-finals against the Graz99ers, VSV is already starting to plan its squad for the coming season. A possible transfer:
Nico Brunner
According to the “Kronen Zeitung”, this could become an issue.

The 33-year-old defender, who can also be used as a striker, is a native of Villach and would therefore return to his homeland. His contract with the
Graz99ers
is running out, as the “Kronen Zeitung” reports – Villach could strike..

Brunner brings a lot of experience with him: after two years with the
Vienna Capitals

he last played two seasons in Graz. In total, he has over 600 games under his belt in the domestic league and is considered a reliable support.

It has not yet been confirmed whether Brunner will actually return to his homeland. He is currently still in the middle of the title race with the Graz99ers. But if he were to return, he could play a key role in changing the VSV defense.
