The drama surrounding defender Jordan Murray continues to concern the EC-KAC. As already reported, the Canadian suddenly collapsed during the home game against Fehérvár AV19 and had to be revived in the hall.
There is now at least one positive development: Murray is now in the normal ward and is on the mend. The events remain difficult for his teammates to process.
Defender Jesper Jensen Aabo in particular experienced the dramatic minutes up close. The Dane caught the tumbling Murray on the KAC bench and often thinks back to this moment.
“The moments are still in my head, I often think of Jordan. I don’t know how we will react on the ice, the fans also saw everything – it will probably be a strange match for everyone,” emphasizes the 34-year-old to the “Kronen Zeitung”. “Although it continues on Sunday, the game is actually still very far away in my head.”
The team continues to talk a lot about what happened. For Jensen Aabo, this is an important step in dealing with the shock. “We are a good group, have known each other for years and have no problem talking about our feelings.”
