The international ice hockey community is mourning the loss of Hungarian young player Barna Borsos, who died in a tragic car accident at the age of just 20.
The young striker most recently played for the youth organization of the traditional Hungarian club Újpesti Jégkorong Akadémia out of Budapest. According to reports, the fatal traffic accident occurred on Friday.
Borsos was considered a great talent in Hungarian ice hockey. In recent years he has run several times for the youth national teams Hungary and represented his country at international tournaments in the U16, U17 and U18 age groups.
