Former league MVP leaves ICE club!

After the end of the FTC-Telekom season, the Hungarians made their first personnel decision. Top scorer Brady Shaw will no longer play for the Hungarians next season.

The 33-year-old Canadian completed his fourth season in the multinational win2day ICE Hockey League this year – two of them for HC Innsbruck, one in Szekesfehervar and most recently with Ferencvaros Budapest. Shaw really impressed there with 51 points and was also Budapest’s most diligent point collector.

But after a year in the Hungarian capital, it’s over. As the Hungarians announced yesterday evening, Shaw will no longer play for FTC-Telekom in the coming season. Shaw commented on his farewell: “

Rumors have been circulating for some time about a potential return to HC Innsbruck. Whether these come true remains to be seen.
