The HCB South Tyrol Alperia conceded against league leaders KAC a clear 3:6 defeat – and completely lost his nerve at times, as “Sportnews” reports.
After an even start, the game tipped over in the second third. While Klagenfurt took advantage of its chances with impressive efficiency and struck ice-cold in the power play, the Foxes became increasingly bogged down in discussions with the referees. Petty whistles and a strict line from the referees provided additional fuel for the home team.
Objects even flew from the stands onto the ice, which resulted in a longer interruption of over five minutes. In terms of sport, the KAC remained confident and confidently achieved the away win over time.
After the final siren, the next measure finally followed: the HCB muzzled its players. There were no interviews or statements about the game in the locker room.
