ICEHL top defender is on the verge of a comeback!

Great hope HCB South Tyrol Alperia: According to “Sportnews”, Mark Barberio is about to return to the ice. The Canadian defense chief, who was presented as Bolzano’s king transfer before the season, could already play in the home game against EC KAC celebrate his comeback.

Barberio played his last game to date at the beginning of December and has been out injured since then. In the past few days, however, the 35-year-old has completed full team training again. A final decision about his deployment should be made shortly. Internally, however, people are optimistic that the veteran will be able to fully attack again in time for the decisive phase.

His potential return comes at an ideal time for the Foxes. Two game days before the end of the regular round, Bolzano is still fighting for an optimal starting position for the playoffs – even third place is mathematically still possible.
