Salzburg defeats HC Pustertal in overtime!

EC Red Bull Salzburg won its 46th game of the season against HC Falkensteiner Pustertal 2-1 after extra time. Travis St. Denis secured the extra point for Mozartstadt.

In the fourth duel of the season, EC Red Bull Salzburg achieved their first win of the season against HC Falkensteiner Pustertal – albeit narrowly 2-1 after overtime. In a very close game in front of an almost sold-out crowd, the Red Bulls had to chase a deficit for a long time after Austin Rueschhoff gave the guests the lead in the 2nd minute. It took until the 46th minute before Eddie Pasquale was overcome in the Pustertal goal for the first time – by defender Cole Krygier, who was only playing his second game for the Mozartstadt team. In the subsequent overtime it only took 49 seconds before center Travis St. Denis scored to make it 2-1 for Salzburg. The Red Bulls moved past Bolzano in the table and are now in third place. Pustertal remains in sixth place.
