Former Graz99ers coach Harry Lange has clarified his future!

Harry Lange will stay with the next season Düsseldorfer EC. The former Graz99ers coach revealed in the “Krone” interview that he is also under contract in Düsseldorf beyond the current season.

After leaving Graz in October, the 42-year-old took over in the DEL2 and faced the difficult mission of restarting. After 58 years in the top division, DEG had to make the bitter transition to the second division and is now fighting for its sporting return to the top.

The Rhinelanders are currently in ninth place. The gap to the fixed playoff places is seven points with six games still remaining. Today there is a duel with a direct competitor, EV Landshut.

However, Lange doesn’t just think short-term. In the summer there will be a major change in Düsseldorf, which the Carinthian will be actively involved in shaping. It is still unclear whether his ex-player Korbinian Holzer will play a role there.
