HC Falkensteiner Pustertal fought its way to a 4-2 win at home over Hydro Fehérvár AV19. However, the guests from Székesfehérvár had the better start, taking the lead 1-0 after just 21 seconds through Csanád Erdély (0:21). Tommy Purdeller equalized late in the first period (18:46).
In the middle third the Hungarians took the lead again – again through Erdély (28:45). In the final period, Henry Bowlby used a power play to equalize again (42:56). In the 49th minute (48:15), Cole Bardreau gave Pustertal the lead for the first time of the evening, before Jonathon Blum made the decision with his goal in the 60th minute (59:35).
Pustertal therefore remains within striking distance of the top 5. With less games played than Ljubljana, the gap is only two points.
