The former crowd favorite EC VSVAnton Karlsson, is once again without a club. The 29-year-old Swede has signed his contract with the bottom team in the British EIHL Fife Flyerswas dissolved early after just a few months and is now available again on the transfer market.
Karlsson had only moved to Scotland in November and was supposed to take on a key role with the Flyers. In a total of 24 games, the winger collected 27 points and was one of the most noticeable players on his team despite the difficult sporting situation. Nevertheless, they decided to go their separate ways.
The Swede made a name for himself in Austria, especially in Villach. In his debut season at VSV, he scored 20 goals straight away and quickly became a fan favorite. After a short interlude in his homeland, he returned to the Drau and impressed with strong performances, particularly in the playoffs. Karlsson then gained international experience in the Czech Republic, Denmark and Norway before finally moving to the British Elite Ice Hockey League.
Due to the termination of the contract, the dangerous attacker is now available again.
