The AHC Division I, Carinthia’s highest ice hockey division, will be more attractive than ever in the new season. Two Styrian traditional clubs, the Le Kings from Leoben and the EV Zeltweg Murtal Lions, climb into the league. The commitment of Oliver Setzinger causes a particular attention!
The ex-international and long-time Icehl professional will wear the Le Kings jersey in the future. League President Michael Herzog-Lönig sees a milestone in the opening to Styria, as the “Kleine Zeitung” reports: “Tent path brings tradition, Leoben Starpower-that makes the league even more exciting.”
Defending champion Steindorf relies almost unchanged on his championship team, reinforced by the experienced Slovenian Luka Kalan. Final opponent Althofen armed ligainters vigorously, while Ferlach also shows new ambitions with several new additions.
