The future of Defender
Nico Brunner
seems to have been decided. According to a report in the “Kronen Zeitung”, the 33-year-old is happy with the
Moser Medical Graz99ers almost unanimously and should therefore continue to wear the Styrian jersey in the coming season.
Experienced defender
After there had recently been speculation about a possible departure, there are now many indications that he would remain in Graz. The Villach native is one of the most experienced Austrian defenders in the ICEHL. Brunner has already played a total of 567 games in the top domestic league and collected 128 scorer points. After positions at EC VSV and the Vienna Capitals He has been under contract with Graz since 2024.
Squad planning
For the 99ers, the left-shooter’s whereabouts would be an important signal in the ongoing squad planning. After the coaching question has been clarified, the focus is now increasingly on putting together the team for the coming season.
