Radio silence at VSV: Striker doesn’t report!

The next step in the Nick Hutchison case is still a long time coming. After the American had already asked about a month ago to terminate his contract, which runs until 2027, there is now complete radio silence between the player and the club. As the “Kronen Zeitung” reports, all attempts to contact EC VSV have recently gone unanswered.

Radio silence between club and player

The situation surrounding the 30-year-old striker is increasingly becoming a test of patience for the Villach team. Hutchison had already signaled to the club in April that he no longer wanted to return to Villach. Since then, the VSV has been waiting for a final decision – but so far in vain.

Managing director Martin Winkler told the “Krone”: “We haven’t heard anything since then. All inquiries remain unanswered.” It remains unclear whether Hutchison will fulfill his current contract or whether there will be an early separation.

VSV needs planning security

The situation is becoming increasingly problematic for the Eagles. Squad planning for the coming season is already in full swing, but several construction sites are still open. Two new signings – a center and a right-shooting defender – are still to come.

If Hutchison actually leaves the club, VSV would also have to sign a winger. A quick decision by the American would be correspondingly important.
