Now it’s official: the Moser Medical Graz99ers are bringing Carinthian David Maier to Styria. The defender was given a multi-year contract.
After a few years at EC-KAC, David Maier from St. Veiter is now moving to his next ICEHL employer. He will play for the Murstadt team over the next three years.
Maier has been a fixture in the Red Jackets’ defense over the past four years, playing 214 regular season games between 2020 and 2026. The defender scored 13 goals and 52 points.
Maier is currently with the Austrian national ice hockey team at the World Cup in Switzerland, where they won the first two group games against Great Britain and Hungary. Maier has also been a fixture in head coach Roger Bader’s team for several years.
