Austrian ICEHL team signs Bozen goalie Sam Harvey!

The HCI managed to sign a top goalie. Sam Harvey has signed a two-year contract with the Sharks.

With Sam Harvey, HC TIWAG Innsbruck-Die Haie has signed a goalie who has already caused a sensation in the win2day ICE Hockey League in recent years. For almost four seasons (interrupted only by a short stint in Finland’s first league), Harvey was the safe support of HCB Südtirol Alperia. Now the 28-year-old Canadian is moving from the Foxes to the Brenner to the Sharks. After Brady Shaw, Joel Messner and Kevin Macierzynski, Sam Harvey is the next top newcomer to the HCI, whose team seems to be a powerful one in the coming season.

By the way, subscription sales for the coming season will start in the next few weeks. The HC TIWAG Innsbruck-Die Haie will break new ground and present unique offers. Further information will follow.

Statement by Sam Harvey

“My family and I are thrilled to join the organization and begin this new chapter. We have heard great things about the team, the city and the passionate fans and look forward to becoming a part of the Sharks community. I can’t wait to see my teammates work and celebrate many successes with our fans.”

HC TIWAG Innsbruck head coach Ryan Kinasewich and co Florian Pedevilla:

“We are incredibly happy and proud to have such strong support at HC Innsbruck with Sam Harvey. Sam not only impresses with his performance on the ice, but also with his professionalism, his commitment and his positive charisma within the team. A goalkeeper like him gives the entire team security and trust – we are very happy that he is part of our organization.”
