After the rather mixed 2025/26 season, in which they ultimately made it to the playoff semi-finals, Hydro Fehervar AV19 is still making a lot of changes in terms of personnel. The Hungarians now lost four players.
In Székesfehérvár they are in the middle of planning for the coming season of the win2day ICE Hockey League. The Hungarians currently have a goalkeeper, three defenders and seven strikers under contract – so there is still plenty to do.
Some experience is leaving the club
Balazs Varga, Akos Mihaly, Balint Magosi and goalie Dominik Horvath are no longer part of the squad. Together, Mihaly and Magosi have no fewer than 660 ICE appearances this season and 197 scorer points. The 22-year-old Varga only moved to the Hungarians last year, Horvath made his debut in 2022/23.
