The Danish national team player Jesper Jensen Aabo has been defending for the EC-KAC since 2022. And that will also be the case next season.
The Dane moved to Wörthersee in the summer of 2022 and has been an important part of the red jackets’ defense since then. The 34-year-old has already played 140 regular season games and was able to collect 78 points. With 27 points, he was Klagenfurt’s highest-scoring defender in the 2024/25 season.
There was a real highlight for the Carinthian assistant captain last February, when he was the Danish flag bearer at the Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina. Jensen Aabo also led Denmark onto the ice as captain.
As the “Crown newspaper” reports, the left-handed shooter will continue to play for the Red Jackets. This means Jensen Aabo is about to enter his fifth season with the Klagenfurt team.
