Double reinforcement for the national team!

Tuesday afternoon the final preparation for the 2026 World Cup begins for the local cracks. In Klagenfurt they are getting the finishing touches and will play the eighth and final test match against Slovenia on Saturday at 4:20 p.m. – As announced last week, Gregor Biber and Paul Huber are now also joining the national team.

“It was already known that Paul Huber would be joining us this week. The players who were given a break are also back as planned. Gregor Biber’s season ended on Saturday. We made contact immediately after the game against Germany and he is now joining the national team in Klagenfurt,” reveals head coach Roger Bader. Clemens Unterweger, Bernd Wolf and Dominic Zwerger were given time off for the return game against Germany in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Atte Tolvanen and David Maier were unavailable last week due to health problems, but will also be back in the game on Tuesday. For Gregor Biber, the final series in Sweden with Rögle came to an end last weekend. Skelleftea AIK were defeated 1:4 in the best of seven final series.
