Canadian striker Brant Harris is continuing his European career and has found a new club. The 36-year-old is moving to Vlci Žilina in the Slovakian Extraliga next season.
Harris is no stranger to Central Europe: he celebrated his breakthrough on the international stage during his time at EC Salzburg, where he established himself as an accurate attacker. In the 2017/18 season he shone with 29 goals and was one of the most offensive players in the league.
After further positions, including in Sweden, the Czech Republic and at Slovan Bratislava, where he even became champion, Harris now brings a lot of experience to Žilina. Most recently he was under contract with Motor České Budějovice in the Czech Extraliga and collected solid scorer points there.
For Vlci Žilina, the former club of Vienna Capitals striker Scott Kosmachuk, the signing is a clear signal: the club wants to further establish itself and relies on experienced players with an international profile.
