After the last few days caused a stir in the fan scene
Villacher SV There has now been a turnaround: two traditional fan clubs are about to make a comeback.
We have already reported that “Blau-Weiß Villach” and the “Blue Devils”, two of the last active groups, have withdrawn from the standing area. Officially, a lack of time resources and personnel bottlenecks were cited as reasons, but there were also reports of dissatisfaction with developments within the fan scene.
Now the club is reacting to the gap that has arisen – and is relying on a new start with well-known names. According to the “Kleine Zeitung”, three fan clubs will ensure atmosphere again in the future. The focus is particularly on the return of the “Villacher Adler”, who were considered a defining force in the stands for years. “Absolut Villach” will also be part of the organized fan scene again, after discussions had been held in advance about general conditions and existing hall bans.
The new trio is complemented by the “Blue Eagles” group, which is largely made up of well-known faces from the Villach fan scene. Many of them were previously part of the fan clubs that have now been dissolved.
The VSV is optimistic that the mood in the stands can not only be maintained, but even improved. According to the club’s information to the “Kleine Zeitung”, around 200 fans will be creating a good atmosphere as members of the three fan clubs in the sector – that would be more than last time.
