Long-time HC Innsbruck captain Jan Lattner will probably stay in Tyrol!

Jan Lattner and HC Innsbruck are going their separate ways – this has been known for a few weeks. But the Czech crack could still be on the ice for a Tyrolean club next season.

On March 1st, Jan Lattner’s HCI era ended with the 1:4 defeat in Salzburg. The Czech spent a total of seven seasons at the Inn and became an absolute crowd favorite. But both sides are now going their separate ways.

Tyrolean club wants to sign veterans

But it is quite possible that we will also see the 36-year-old on the ice next season, albeit one level “lower”. As the “Crown newspaperreports, the Adler Kitzbühel have expressed interest in the defender.

The past season for the Adler didn’t go as planned: as third in the qualifying round, they just made it to the playoff round of 16, but had to admit defeat to the eventual champions from Val Gardena. They parted ways with head coach Rob Daum and are also expected to make changes to the player personnel. The routine of a 706x ICEHL crack definitely couldn’t hurt.
