Maximilian Wilfan will continue to hunt for goals for the Eisbären in the 2026/27 season. The number 75 is extending his working paper with the EKZ and will continue to bring his numerous qualities to bear on the ice.
460 games in the Alps Hockey League, including 468 goals – Max Wilfan is one of the league’s flagships. The captain of the Zeller Eisbären will also wear blue and yellow next season and is entering his third season in Pinzgau. The Carinthian native impresses with his incredible experience on the ice, which goes hand in hand with his excellent understanding of the game. Whether as a scorer or as an assist provider – last season he was an important part of the strong second line of attack. With clever penalties, clever plays, good overview and also valuable defensive work, the left-handed shooter is still a top performer in the team and highly respected within the team.

CAREER
He was born on January 16, 1991 in Klagenfurt. After stints in Sweden, Graz, near Kapfenberg and Dornbirn, he already had a short guest appearance in Pinzgau in 2013. Wilfan then led Lustenau onto the ice as captain until 2023/24. He has been playing for the Eisbären since the summer of 2024.
