The Black Wings Linz are likely to lose one of their best players. According to insider Bernd Freimüller via X, striker Travis Barron will probably leave the Stahlstadters.
The Canadian moved to Linz with an impressive resume of over 300 AHL games. There, Barron impressed straight away and was one of the top players in Upper Austria. In 47 games, the striker scored 42 points, including 18 goals. Now he is likely to definitely leave the club, an official confirmation is still pending.
A few weeks ago it became known that Barron was already negotiating with another club. But the transfer ultimately failed.
