In the 3-2 friendly win over Italy, striker Elias Wallenta had to leave the ice early after a hard check and was unable to continue playing. It is now clear that he will not return to the national team because the injury is too serious.
Nothing is known about the exact diagnosis, but the “Kronen Zeitung” reports that the 27-year-old will have to take a break for up to eight weeks due to his shoulder injury.
