Master and then change? Lukas Haudum’s future could lead abroad!

Lukas Haudum is having the best season of his career so far with the Graz99ers – and could leave the club again in the summer.

Performance explosion in Graz

He moved to Graz as a surprise transfer two years ago, but Haudum is now the clear leader of the 99ers. With 66 points in 54 games, the 28-year-old delivers personal bests and is also one of the dominant players in the play-offs.

An important factor for the upswing: coach Dan Lacroix, under whom Haudum made another significant increase in performance.

Abroad as a realistic scenario

But it is precisely this strong season that arouses desire. As the “Kronen Zeitung” reports, Haudum has an exit clause for a stronger league. The dream of going abroad is still present for the national player.

There has already been interest from top leagues in the past – including from Germany. However, a change is only an option for Haudum if the overall package is right: “I’m certainly not changing at any price. But I haven’t given up on my dream of going abroad yet. I have to be that honest.”

Finale as a stage for the next step?

Before a possible change, Haudum has the big stage: he is in the final with the Graz team and could crown his already strong season with a title. He could also play his way into the international showcase at the World Cup.

It remains to be seen whether the next step in your career will take place after this – but after this season the signs point to foreign countries – if a suitable opportunity presents itself…
