99 times eehl-keeper ends his career!

The Swedish goalkeeper Christian Engstrand officially ended his active career. In the ICE Hockey League, the 99-time league keeper for Feirvár AV19, the Graz99ers and the EC KAC stood between the posts.

Above all, his short guest performance in the “Rotjacken” from Klagenfurt is remembered: In just eight missions, the goalie convinced with an outstanding catch rate of 93.9 percent and contributed significantly to important points. After his brief engagement at the KAC, Engstrand moved back to his Swedish homeland.

In the past season, the 35-year-old still completed four games for Västerås IK in the Allsvenskan-the club with which Austrian international Konstantin Komarek is also under contract.

With the end of the career, an almost two decades of professional career ends, in which narrow beach was able to convince not only in Sweden and Austria, but also in other European leagues.
