The Austrian ice hockey striker Sascha Bauer has ended his active career. The 30-year-old Viennese played a total of 372 games in the ICE Hockey League.

He mostly completed this for the Vienna Capitals, but also played for the Graz99ers and the Innsbruck Haie towards the end of his career. Bauer collected 61 points in his career and celebrated the championship title with the Vienna Capitals in the 2016/17 season.

In addition, he played three caps for Austria and played 27 missions in the Champions Hockey League. Due to numerous injuries, Bauer decided to hang his ice skates on the nail and end his career prematurely.
