The 29-year-old Slovenian has been playing in the win2day ICE Hockey League for many years. Nik Simsic will also play in the ICEHL next season.
Simsic set out at a young age and went through the youth ranks at the Swedish club Södertälje SK. In 2017 he moved to Medvescak Zagreb and made his debut in what was then the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga.
“Long-term striker” for the Dragons
Towards the end of the season, Simsic played for Olimpija Ljubljana. Since then he has been storming for the Slovenians, with one brief exception when he laced up his skates for eight games for the French first division club Angers in 2022/23.
