127 times eechehl-crack changes to the country!

The EC Bregenzerwald can present a well-known newcomer shortly before the start of the season: Defender Bernhard Posch returns to the “Wälder” jersey and will appear with the number 40 in the future. The 190 cm tall and 89 kg left -handed shot changes from the Vienna Capitals.

The 24-year-old brings plenty of experience from over 100 missions in the ICE Hockey League and the Alps Hockey League. Posch also knows the forest environment very well: he already laced ice cream shoes for the ECB in the 2020/21 season and convinced with his defensive work, which is why he was also used at the Austrian U20 national team.

The ECB had been in contact with Posch for a long time this year, but until the end, the defender stated at his goal to get a contract in the ICE Hockey League. Since he was always hoped for a place in the highest division, he rejected these and other options – the ECB squad was planned without him.

However, it is thanks to a special constellation that a later transfer to Vorarlberg was still possible: Because of the long -term violation of Center Alexander Tell, a regular defender has to help out, which in turn caused a gap on the defensive. With the support of a dedicated sponsor, the Posch association was able to bring back to the Wälder team. For the 24-year-old, this was the only remaining option. Not only to be able to continue his career at all, but also to recover for higher tasks.

Bernhard Posch to the transfer:
“I was already at the Bregenzerwald at the age of 18. I think it’s great that young players can prove themselves here and get ice age. The Alps gets stronger from year to year. I’m happy to be back, we are a young, hungry troop and I will do everything we can to get as far as possible in the season.”
