Playoff History: Everett Silvertips vs. Seattle Thunderbirds

2017 Seattle won 4-0 2nd Round, Everett would edge out Seattle for the division title by two points. The first three games were settled by just one goal, the third game requiring overtime. At home, Seattle would put Everett away with a 4-1 win, Keegan Kolesar scored the game and series winner with 3:13 left in the first period. Matthew Barzal would score the insurance marker and Kolesar would add the fourth goal. The Thunderbirds would go on to represent the WHL at the Memorial Cup in Windsor, Ontario

2016 Seattle won 4-1 2nd Round, Seattle had a ten point lead for the division title over Everett. The Silvertips would only manage to win the first game, a 3-0 shutout for Carter Hart. Landon Bow would secure his own shutout in the third game of the series. The final two games were one goal wins for Seattle. The Thunderbirds would make it to the WHL final and lose in four games to the Brandon Wheat Kings.

2014 Seattle won 4-1 1st Round, The two teams tied with 88 points in the regular season but their series wasn’t as close. The first three games of the series were tight affairs. The last two though were nothing of the sort as Everett earned a 6-1 win on home ice in game four. Seattle would then return the favor at the ShoWare Center winning game five by a 5-0 score.
