The Winnipeg ICE announced the signing of second overall pick Conor Geekie to his standard WHL Player Agreement at the team’s development camp on Friday.
The CHL handed out its annual awards on Saturday as part of the Memorial Cup festivities in Halifax. A total of 10 awards were handed out, five of which went to WHL players.
