Statement from DUBNetwork CEO Paul Figler

Hello readers,

The last several months have been a trying time for everyone. Teams, coaches, players, fans, businesses, and everyone across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest in the United States have been impacted by COVID-19. We have all done our part to remain as safe as possible.

Over the last couple of weeks, the leadership of DUBNetwork has engaged in several very difficult conversations.

Due to the impact of the virus, whether directly or indirectly, the remainder of the 2019-2020 WHL season being canceled, and the status of the 2020-2021 season unknown, DUBNetwork has made the difficult decision to take a step back and stop coverage.

Our writers and podcasters have done a tremendous job navigating through the uncertainty. The WHL office and the teams our writers cover have been as accommodating as possible given their uncertainty as well.

Please continue to follow our writers individually on social media as they will do their best to provide coverage of your favorite team when news occurs.

Both podcasts affiliated with DUBNetwork will still be available on whatever app you listen to podcasts. Stay tuned to their individual social media for additional updates and episodes.

While this decision did not come easy, we hope you and your family are remaining safe and healthy. We are thankful to the fans and followers who have been on this amazing journey with us since our start in 2015.

Sincerely,

DUBNetwork Leadership
