Ladies and Gentlemen, the day has finally come where we can say goodbye to the “terrible twos” and move on to season three of DUBNetwork.
Just wanted to recap a few things that have been happening for our team over the months following the Mastercard Memorial Cup.
- We’ve added Guy Flaming from The Pipeline Show. He will be writing feature articles for us on the regular with “Flaming Hot Takes”.
- While adding Guy, DUBNetwork has become a sponsor of his show, that feature will be known as “Around the ‘DUB”. Guy always has great WHL and junior hockey talent on the show and we are proud to be the sponsor of that segment each and every week.
- Brandon Rivers (@hodgesheroes) has added a near daily article known as “Daily dose of the ‘Dub” to our site to bring all the news from around the WHL to one place.
- Our site developer Jesse has taken on a new role as our writer for the Kamloops Blazers.
There are other things going on around the site, as you will notice we have changed our look and feel. DUBNetwork wanted to bring a more polished and professional look to the site and we believe we have achieved that with the new theme seen here.
In upcoming news, Jesse will also be in attendance at the World Junior Summer Showcase, held in Kamloops, B.C. over the next week. I will also be in attendance at some of the Hlinka Gretzky Cup held in Red Deer and Edmonton Alberta featuring the next crop of NHL draft eligible players.
We also plan on adding far more player profiles this season and not just on those eligible for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft.
