Kelowna signs Wong
The Kelowna Rockets are pleased to announce the signing of 2003 born forward, Trevor Wong to a standard Western Hockey League Player Agreement. He will make his WHL debut tonight against the Prince George Cougars! ?

The Kelowna Rockets have come to terms on a contract with high-profile forward Trevor Wong. Wong, 15, was the team’s first-round draft pick this past summer, and had originally committed to the University of Denver before switching directions. He made his WHL debut Saturday night against the Prince George Cougars.
Three Stars of the Night:
1) Trey Fix-Wolansky – Registered a goal and three assists in Edmonton’s 6-3 win over the visiting Lethbridge Hurricanes. Now leads the WHL with 21 assists this season.
2) Kirby Dach – Notched two goals and an assist in Saskatoon’s 5-3 victory over the Calgary Hitmen.
3) Trent Miner – Stopped 37 of 39 shots faced, and three-of-three in the shootout to improve to 4-0-1 this season, with a league-leading 1.41 GAA and .953 save percentage.
Honorable Mentions… Reese Johnson had a hat trick in the Rebels 8-5 win over the Kootenay Ice, Koby Mohr had a goal and an assist in the Blazers win in Portland 5-2, Sergei Alkhimov scored twice to lead the Regina Pats over the Swift Current Broncos 7-1.
