Today’s Gameday Preview: Wednesday November 14th, 2018

A somewhat quiet Wednesday in the league leaves four games on the schedule for this evening, the only game south of the 49th parallel when Everett entertains Portland is the DUBNetwork Feature Game of the Night.

The Winterhawks (12-6-0-1) and Silvertips (14-6-0-0) have already met for three games this season, Everett ahead in the season series by a 2-1 margin. As expected, all games have been close, with two-of-three meetings being decided by two goals.

Coming into this one, Portland is perfect in their last five games, and Everett has only lost one. Both teams are riding high thanks to a lot of offence and some good goaltending. Portland has scored 22 goals, Everett has scored 24 goals over their last handful of games.

Since being returned from the Vegas Golden Knights, Cody Glass has been nothing but sensational for the Winterhawks putting up 34 points in 16 games. Having 13 points in five games happens for most players at a couple of points in their junior hockey careers, however for Cody Glass this seems to be the norm over the last three seasons. Every chance fans have to see this phenom play is a gift, whenever he is handling the puck, something special is poised to happen.
