Feature Game of the Night: Hurricanes @ Raiders 7 PM CST
In the middle of the prairies, the Lethbridge Hurricanes (9-7-2-2) look to break the Prince Albert Raiders (20-1-0-0) perfect undefeated home record tonight at the Art Hauser Centre.
Prince Albert comes in on a 13 game winning streak, and sits first in the CHL Rankings, so far this season only one team has managed to stop the Raider train. Considering Lethbridge having the player turnover they did from last season, they aren’t sitting in too bad of a spot. Sitting in the last wild card spot in the east, they are only one point back of the Tigers for third in the division. In one contest so far this season, PA scored five goals to defeat the ‘Canes 5-1.
The headline of this game has to be Sean Montgomery, he’s been quietly cruising to a breakout season in 2018-19 and plays in his 300th game tonight. Over his last couple seasons in the league, he’s been tallying points in the twenties, this season though he’s changed. In 21 games so far, the 20 year-old forward already has 25 points. Another thing that’s absolutely unheard of, is junior hockey players not missing games. Montgomery has only missed 10 games in his entire career, the last game this iron man missed was on January 11th, 2017.
