Today’s Gameday Preview: Saturday November 10th, 2018

Feature Game: Edmonton Oil Kings @ Medicine Hat Tigers- 7:30 PM- MST

The Edmonton Oil Kings (11-7-1-1) will head south to ‘The Hat’ to take on the Tigers (9-8-0-2) for DUBNetwork’s Feature Game of the Night.

The Oil Kings have been enjoying a much needed rebound after a tough last couple seasons. Last season they finished dead last in the WHL, and haven’t played a playoff game (aside from the Tie-Breaker in 2016) since April 1st, 2015. Currently Edmonton sits in first place in the Central Division.

Tyler Preziuso-Brian Harris (Andy Devlin)

The Tigers have strung out much success over their last couple seasons, and are sitting in a good spot again this season from what is shaping up to be a breakout season from Tyler Preziuso (1999) who is already over half his points total from last season with 18 points in 19 GP. The Tigers have also been sharing the crease between goaltenders between ’99 born Jordan Hollett and rookie import Mads Sogaard. Hollett has played a little over 700 minutes, Sogaard racking up 449 minutes played. As Jordan Hollett played Friday Night in a loss against the Blades, one would think they would go back to their other netminder in Sogaard.
