Feature Game of the Night: Victoria Royals @Kelowna Rockets 7:05 PM PST

Tonight we head over to the B.C. Division where the schedule has the Victoria Royals (13-11) taking on the  Kelowna Rockets (13-5-2-0) who they trail by two points for second in the division.

The Royals have an astounding six games in hand on the Rockets. This is the first of two big games for them as they head over to Langley for a tilt with the Vancouver Giants Saturday.

The Royals have dropped two straight while the Rockets have earned a point it at least their last three games.

Victoria has been without overage goalie Griffen Outhouse since November 28th and could see him return to the lineup. He was listed as out day-to-day in the latest weekly report.

2001-born netminder Brock Gould has been in net for the last three games and has gone 1-2, giving up nine goals on 62 total shots.

Kelowna saw some success against the Tri-City Americans as their last two wins came courtesy the team from Kennewick. This is their last home game before a five-game road trip that will see them play four games against the Central Division.

  • P.A. will attempt to get back in the win column after having their 19-game win streak snapped.

Moose Jaw Warriors (15-6-4-1) @ Saskatoon Blades (17-9-3-0)

  • This is a big East Division battle as the Blades sit two points up on the Warriors with Moose Jaw having three games in hand.

Swift Current Broncos (5-21-1-1) @ Calgary Hitmen (12-14-2-1)

  • Two straight wins for the Hitmen as they try to figure out whether they should try for a playoff run instead o of selling assets again.

Regina Pats (8-21-0-0) @ Red Deer Rebels (17-9-2-0)

  • Red Deer has struggled a bit as of late and will be looking to get things back on track against the Pats who have dropped six in a row.

Prince George Cougars (11-14-1-2) @ Portland Winterhawks (16-10-0-2)

  • First of two straight in the Rose City for these two and last game before Cody Glass leaves for World Juniors camp.

Lethbridge Hurricanes (15-8-3-2) @ Spokane Chiefs (14-10-2-2)

  • The ‘Canes have not lost a game since they traded for Nick Henry and Jake Leschyshyn and have won six of their last seven as they put the pressure on the Rebels for the division lead.

Seattle Thunderbirds (9-13-3-0) @ Tri-City Americans (14-11-1-1)

  • The T-birds have won just two of their last 10 games and they take on a team in the Ams, who have dropped four in a row. If Seattle does not get some points out of this weekend they may start seeing playoff hopes slipping away.
