Recently both teams have been slipping, both on two game losing streaks with Spokane going (4-5-1-0) and Victoria going (5-5-0-0) in their last 10 games respectively. Nonetheless, this game could affect a lot of movement in the standings, as Spokane is right on the heels of Tri-City for third in the US Division.

On the flip side, the Prince George Cougars are at the gates only one point behind Vic for 2nd in the BC Division.
