According to Kelowna Rockets’ play-by-play man Regan Bartel, Kyle Topping will be back in the Rockets lineup next week. Topping has been out with a broken ankle since October 30th. Prior to the injury, Topping had recorded five goals and eight assists in 14 games.

Jesse Seppälä was back in the lineup for the Edmonton Oil Kings after being out on Friday night against the Prince Albert Raiders. He had not played since November 8th.

Krz Plummer was out of the Vancouver Giant’s lineup on Sunday against Kamloops after sustaining an injury on Saturday night against Victoria according to Vancouver Province reporter Steve Ewen. The Giants recalled defenseman Nicco Camazzola from the BCMML’s Vancouver NE Chiefs to replace Plummer. The Burnaby native has played three WHL games and has no points.

With a 2-0 shutout over the Seattle Thunderbirds, Everett’s Dustin Wolf recorded his 19th career shutout in the WHL to move into a tie for ninth on the all-time list with Taylor Dakers (137 GP, 2.26 GAA, 0.916 Save Percentage, 82-42-2-3 with the Kootenay ICE from 2003-07) and Matt Keetley (152 GP, 2.05 GAA, 0.918 Save Percentage, 105-30-2-5 record with the Medicine Hat Tigers from 2003-07).

After round-robin play at the 2020 Youth Olympics, Moose Jaw Warriors prospect Denton Mateychuk has a goal and an assist and Winnipeg ICE prospect Matthew Savoie has matched that in two games. Brandon Wheat Kings prospect Nate Danielson and Kamloops Blazers prospect Mats Lindgren have also each recorded a goal.
