The Chicago Blackhawks have loaned Michal Teplý (53GP, 29G, 34A with Winnipeg ’19-’20) to BK Mlada Boleslav of the Czech professional league. The 19-year-old Czech native earned himself an NHL contract with the Blackhawks back in April. Teplý has previously played 15 games in the top Czech professional league with Bili Tygri Liberec, posting two assists.

Following four seasons in the EBEL with the Vienna Capitals, Riley Holzapfel (248GP, 91G, 116A with Moose Jaw ’04-’08) has retired from professional hockey. Holzapfel won the EBEL Championship with the Capitals in 2017. That playoff run saw him earn the playoff MVP title after putting up the most goals and points among all players. Last season with the Capitals, Holzapfel scored 18 goals and added 28 assists in 48 games.

Filip Vasko (78GP, 5G, 19A with Kelowna, Red Deer, and Regina ’11-’13) has signed an extension with MHK Humenné. Over his four seasons with the team, Vasko has picked up 64 goals 98 assists over 104 games.

Dumba’s contributions within his community go beyond this season but have been especially apparent during this time of social change. In 69 games this season, Dumba scored six goals and added 18 assists.
