WHL names Players of the Week

Lethbridge Hurricanes forward Jake Elmer was named WHL Player of the Week after putting up 10 points (5G, 5A) and a plus-9 rating in four games. The overage forward is currently on a 13-game goal scoring streak where he has had 16 goals and is up to 36 on the year to go with 37 assists in 63 games this season.

Everett Silvertips goalie Dustin Wolf was named WHL Goaltender of the Week for the fifth time this season after going 2-0-0-0 with a 0.48 GAA, a .981 save percentage and his seventh shutout of the season in a 1-0 overtime win over Seattle. The 2019 NHL Draft prospect has had an outstanding draft year, now owning the Silvertips franchise record for wins in a season, has a 39-13-2-1 record with a 1.72 GAA, a .935 save percentage and seven shutouts.

Raiders reassign Raiders

The Prince Albert Raiders have reassigned prospect forward Evan Herman back to the Rink Hockey Academy of the CSSHL. He got into his first three WHL games, recording one shot after signing with the team last week. The 2002-born forward has 26 points (13G, 13A) in 30 games with RHA.

Roman to miss games

The Vancouver Giants will be without forward Milos Roman for at least three games (Tri-City, Seattle, Kelowna) as he will be returning to Slovakia to take tests related to his high school graduation. The 2018 Calgary Flames fourth rounder is coming off of a nine point weekend, including two four point games. He has 56 points (27G, 29A) in 56 games with the Giants this season.
