Regina Pats netminder Danton Belluk left Saturday’s game vs. Edmonton after being run into by Pats forward Cole Dubinsky in an unfortunate incident and did not return to the game after the end of the period.

Tendeck scratched vs. Silvertips

Vancouver Giants goaltender David Tendeck was scratched for the Giants against Everett on Saturday. Our Stephen Hawco reports Tendeck was shaken up in the third period against Calgary but did finish the game.

Keeler injured on hit by Sekundiak

Edmonton’s Liam Keeler was held out of the lineup vs. Regina due to an injury sustained on a hit by Brandon’s Marcus Sekundiak.

Thiessen out for Wheat Kings 

Rylan Thiessen was not in the lineup for the Wheat Kings on Saturday night vs. Prince Albert after playing Friday vs. Edmonton. Marcus Sekundiak did play for Brandon meaning he won’t be suspended for his hit on the aforementioned Keeler.

Carpendale makes Blazers debut

Tyler Carpendale played in his first game of the season and first game since being traded to the Kamloops Blazers on Saturday. In 60 games last season with Seattle, he had six goals and 16 assists.

Chudley back for Chiefs

Jordan Chudley played his first game since January 31st for the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday.
