Our Brandon Rivers had the chance to chat with Swift Current Broncos Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Dean Brockman where he learned that 1999-born Ian Briscoe is not returning to Broncos for the 2019/20 season leaving the team with just two overage players. In 50 games last season, Briscoe had three goals and eight assists.
Brockman also said they’ve brought in 1999-born Zach Cox to compete for that open overage spot. Last season, Cox played for the Lethbridge Hurricanes suiting up for 66 games and recording 11 goals and four assists. You can read Brandon’s full article here.
