Day 4: Team BC beat PEI 15-1 to advance to the Quarter-Finals.

Hofer named CHL goalie of the week

After being named WHL Goaltender of the Week, Portland Winterhawks goaltender Joel Hofer was named CHL Goaltender of the Week after going 2-0-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA, a .967 save percentage and a shutout. The St. Louis Blues prospect also led the Winterhawks to a tenth consecutive playoff berth.

Kootenay signs prospect

The Kootenay ICE signed 2003-born prospect Chase Bertholet to a Standard Player Agreement. The Thompson, MB native was acquired from Red Deer in the trade that sent Cam Hausinger the other way. He has 42 points (13G, 29A) in 42 games with the Prince Albert Mintos of the SMHL.

Calgary Hitmen: Defenseman Andrew Viggars is back with West Kelowna of the BCHL as blue liners Dakota Krebs and Egor Zamula returned from their injuries.

Edmonton Oil Kings: Forward Zach Russell is listed as out 7-to-10 days with an upper body ailment.

Everett Silvertips: Forward Connor Dewar is not listed as out, despite missing Monday’s game with the Prince George Cougars.

Kelowna Rockets: Matt Barberis joined Ted Brennan and Liam Kindree on the injury list. he is out 6-to-8 weeks.

Medicine Hat Tigers: Ryan Jevne (week-to-week) was added to the injury list and he joins Hayden Ostir (day-to-day) and Joel Craven (season ending). Defenseman Linus Nassen did return over the weekend.

Moose Jaw Warriors: Tate Popple came back, but Keenan Taphorn joined his brother Kaedan and both are listed as out day-to-day.

Portland Winterhawks: Matt Quigley is out week-to-week while fellow defenseman Brendan De Jong is still out day-to-day. Center Cody Glass was not listed despite missing Monday’s game against Vancouver.

Prince Albert Raiders: Brett Leason and Ian Scott are still out day-to-day.

Spokane Chiefs: Forward Kaden Hanas is now out day-to-day after being listed as out week-to-week last week.

Swift Current Broncos: Alex Moar, who was hurt in Monday’s game is out 6-to-8 weeks.

Tri-City Americans: Defenseman Bryan McAndrew joins forward Blake Stevenson on the shelf.

2nd Star: Tri-City’s Kyle Olson had a goal and two assists in a 6-3 win over Red Deer.

3rd Star: Tri-City’s Parker AuCoin had two goals in their victory over the Rebels.
