Saskatchewan announces U16 team for Canada Winter Games

Hockey Saskatchewan was the latest to name the U16 roster for the 2019 Canada Winter Games. Men’s hockey takes place in Red Deer starting February 16th.

Of the 20 players named, nine have already committed to the WHL team that took them in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft. The highest drafted player was d-man Nolan Allan of the Prince Albert Raiders.

The two other first-round picks were Cole Sillinger and Gabe Klassen.
