Regina acquires Walker from Everett

-Obviously looking ahead to next year when all three overage defensemen will be off their roster, the Regina Pats moved a fifth-round pick in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft for 2000-born blue liner Kyle Walker.

Walker, a Leduc, Alberta native played in 50 games last year, compiling a goal and five assists for six points. This year, he has played in 14 games and has 10 shots on net.

Prior to Walker being traded, the Silvertips called up 16-year-old defenseman Dylan Anderson from the Yale Hockey Academy. With Anderson and recently acquired overage, import d-man Artyom Minulin, the Silvertips should now have seven d-men available. This is because Ronan Seeley is still away a the U17 Challenge.
