Mahura makes NHL debut
It didn’t take long for the former Regina Pat / Red Deer Rebel to make his NHL debut with the Anaheim Ducks. It was the Ducks 22nd game of the season. Mahura played 19:40 including a little bit of time on the power play for the ducks. He was a +2 and had two shots on goal.

Three Stars of the Night:
- Ryan Peckford (Moose Jaw) – Posted four goals and an assist in his team’s 9-1 thrashing of the ICE. Now riding a five-game point streak.
- Zane Franklin (Kamloops) – Scored once and dished out four assists in the Blazers’ 7-3 dispatching of Prince George.
- Riley Woods (Spokane) – Scored all three of the Chiefs’ goals, including the OT winner, for his first career hat trick in their 3-2 win over Everett.

Victoria goalie Griffen Outhouse turned aside 28-of-29 shots in the Royals’ 3-1 win, playing in his second game in as many nights… Moose Jaw forward Tyler Smithies recorded his first three points of the season, tallying two goals and an assist…
