Blues signs Kaspick to extension

23-year-old forward Tanner Kaspick (216GP, 59G, 100A with Brandon and Victoria ’13-’18) has signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with the St; Louis Blues. Kaspick spent the entirety of 2020-21 playing for the Blues AHL affiliate, the Utica Comets. In 20 games, he scored two goals and added three assists. Kaspick was selected in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft by the Blues. Was a member of the 2015-16 WHL Champion Brandon Wheat Kings.

Proft signs with Dusseldorfer EG

Forward Carter Proft (196GP, 25G, 19A with Brandon and Spokane ’10-’14) has signed with Dusseldorfer EG of the DEL. 2021-22 will be Proft’s eighth season in Germany. In 2020-21, Proft scored 13 goals and had 18 assists in 48 games with the DEL2’s Lowen Frankfurt.

Scurko signs with HK Spisska Nova Ves

Slovakian forward Ladislav Scurko (143GP, 38G, 57A with Seattle and Tri-City ’04-’07) has signed with HK Spisska Nova Ves in Slovakia. The 35-year-old is coming off his fourth season with HC Detva, where he had been captain for the last two seasons. In 48 games, Scurko scored nine goals and added nine assists. He was taken by the Thunderbirds seventh overall at the 2004 CHL Import Draft.

Ibragimov signs extension with CSKA Moskva

Russian Defenceman Marsel Ibragimov (183GP, 3G, 18A with Edmonton and Victoria ’14-’17) has signed a contract extension with CSKA Moskva of the KHL. Last season Ibragimov split his games between CSKA Moskva (KHL, 14G, 0G, 2A) and Zvezda Moskva (VHL, 35GP, 0G, 8A). The Edmonton Oil Kings selected Ibragimov 58th overall at the 2014 CHL Import Draft.
